Building a consensus view meant scanning fifteen or more broker and bank reports, pulling key financial KPI forecasts out by hand, keying them into a working file and linking that file into the model. Two analyst days for every company covered.
What we built
A Power Query engine that extracts forecast data directly from bank and broker reports and writes dynamic formulas into the Excel model, so the consensus refreshes itself.
